Nancy from Indiana told me about the traveling book concept which is reading a book and releasing it to a random person or a person you know. There is a website BookCrossing.com where you register the book and then you write all over the book that it is a traveling book and to go to the website. That way you leave it behind and hope someone else will read it, make comments in the website and release it to some one else and the book can travel all over the world while you monitor the whereabouts in the website. To me sounds like a lot of fun and I was so excited. I read my book and yesterday I left it at starbucks here in Chicago hoping someone will make it travel. Let’s see what happens.
Nancy de Indiana me hablo del concepto del libro viajero. Se trata de leer un libro y darselo a una persona al azar o a una persona que conoces. Existe una pagina de internet BookCrossing.com en donde registras el libro y despues escribes en varias partes del libro fisicamente que ese libro es viajero y que visiten la pagina de internet. De esa manera lo puedes dejar en cualquier lugar con la esperanza que alguien mas lo lea, haga comentarios en la pagina y se lo de a alguien mas y asi el libro viaja alrededor de todo el mundo y al mismo tiempo yo monitoreo en donde se encuentra a traves de la pagina de internet. Para mi suena muy divertido y estaba muy emocionada. Lei mi libro y ayer lo deje en un starbucks aqui en Chicago con la esperanza de que alguien permita que el libro viaje. Haber que pasa.
