Mount Rushmore has been one of my favorites so far. The presidents faces are huge 60 feet tall each. I have always liked art and carving is one style of art that I have a lot of respect of because is a methodical calculated art. If you carve too much you can’t put it back. They think in terms of all they have to remove instead of thinking of a face they have to build. It sounds pretty complicated to me.
The faces are in South Dakota located west of Custer SD. Each president basically had a basic role in the Nation. The beginning of the nation, keeping the nation together, expansion and growth.
I took several pictures from different angles, since the sculptures were placed in this mountain facing the morning sun it is hard to take a bad picture 
so each foto is just perfect.
The mountains were the sculptures were carved are called the black mountains named by the indians. The mountains are sacred for them and they were against having the stone carved.

Mount Rushmore has sido uno de mis favoritos. Las caras de los presidentes están grandísimas, miden 60 pies de altura cada una. Siempre me ha gustado el arte y el esculpir es un estilo de arte al cual le tengo respeto porque es un arte con muchos cálculos y metódico. Si esculpes mas de lo debido una rocka, no puedes pegarla de nuevo. Los que esculpen piensan en términos de lo que tienen que quitar en ves de lo que tienen que construir. Para mi suena bastante complicado.
Las caras están en Dakota del Sur al oeste de Custer SD. Cada presidente basicamente tuvo un rol en la Nacion. El inicio de la nacion, mantener a la nacion unida, expander y crecimiento.
Tome varias fotos de diferentes ángulos, debido a que las esculturas fueron creadas en esta montaña frente al sol pues es difícil que uno tome una mala foto así que todas salieron perfectas.
Las montañas en donde las caras fueron esculpidas se llaman montanias negras, nombradas por los indios de la region. Estas montanias son sagradas para ellos y estaban en conra de que la roca fuera esculpida.
